New England Join The Youth Development Pool...

I received a press release today stating the following:

New England Revolution Unveils Full Youth-Development Program Details
The Revs’ fully-funded youth system will begin this summer with tryout dates for U16s and U18s in June

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution today unveiled complete details about its new, fully-funded youth development program, including tryout information for its boys Under-16 and Under-18 teams that will begin play this summer and which will compete in the prestigious U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

I like the part that says "fully-funded." I hope that means no kids have to pay to play. It is a positive step forward that another MLS team is becoming a more vertically integrated soccer club.

New England is one of the last MLS clubs to take this step.
